Weeds spent 26 years in the United States Navy as an FA-18 Strike Fighter Pilot and retired from active duty in 2012.  Over the last 11 years he has led myriad programs at small, mid-sized, and large companies supporting the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Fed/Civ agencies. He is responsible for the delivery of technology-enabled solutions that include AI/ML, Platform Engineering, IAM, and Business Process Engineering.

Before joining JSL, Weeds led the design, development, implementation, and sustainment of the ORION Decision Support Platform in support of the Joint Staff J-35 South.  As the manifestation of the Global Force Management Data Initiative (GFM-DI), ORION provides the Joint Staff, the Services, and the Combatant Commands with Capabilities, Readiness, Availability, and Employment (CRAE) data for the entirety of the Joint Force and provides excursion capability to assess the impact of GFMAP changes, major, war, and contingency plans. It was in this role that Weeds provided direct SME support to the Strategic Seminar Series, multiple Ops/Deps, and the CJCS Tank (under both General Dunford and General Milley).

At JSL, Weeds is leading the Defense and Intel lines of business as they focus on providing superior IT and Advisory and Consulting services to customers.
